Jay-Day currently resides in Wisconsin and is working day and night to make it big. His passion for music, starting at a tender age of two, has grown into a successful career that is taking the hip-hop world by storm. In his high school days Jacob had the opportunity to perform for and be directed by Grammy-nominated arranger Dr. Jeremy Fox. At the age of 16, Jay-Day’s interest in hip hop led him to start writing his own music. Inspired by the emotional vibes of Juice Wrld, and the styles of B.O.B, Jacob crafted his songs with his personal experiences and heartfelt emotions. His music became deeply personal to him and his songs became a reflection of his thoughts and feelings. In 2018 however, Jacob’s life took an unfortunate turn. His mother passed away from stage four breast cancer. After this devastating loss. Jacob became more serious and started working harder than ever to make his music career successful.

Jacob has a grand total of fourteen songs, each masterfully crafted by Jay’s intelligent writing and groovy tunes. His songs each have a unique and distinctive story to them. Jay-Day's vibe is not the typical music you would hear. When you listen to Jay's music each song is a different mood, a different emotion; a different story. Each pertaining to Jay's life on a personal level, but with a twist of perspective so the listener can relate in a similar fashion. This is evident in Jay’s song “Love U”, which Jay dedicated to his wife. It's a smooth romantic ballad which is sure to make the listener swoon as well. “I'm sorry”, another impressive punk/hip hop single, Written about addiction and forgiveness.

Jay-Day’s work is greatly influenced by his favorite artists XXXTentacion and JuiceWrld. Both of his idols were not afraid to express themselves in their music and helped the younger generation navigate through their pain by turning their emotions into something positive. This is exactly what Jacob hopes his music does- Makes a difference for the better and has an impact on people’s lives.

Jacob is planning to shoot music videos for his top singles “I’m sorry” and “Love U”. He also plans on finishing his first album as soon as possible. The rate at which Jay Day is gaining popularity and success, He is set to be one of the top hip hop artists very soon.
